Monday to Friday
9.30am to 12.20pm– please observe social distancing and if possible wear your mask when dropping off or collecting your child.
Age group: From the age of two, children can be left with qualified experienced staff to enjoy a range of play opportunities.
Each child has their own key workers to ensure that they reach their full potential.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have changed usual our finish time to allow a few minutes extra for pick up and the end of the day.
We like to play outside daily so please come dressed for outside messy play.
These short sessions are ideal preparation for nursery.
Places are allocated in age order, but early registration ensures that your child is on our waiting list.
The children start the session with breakfast and end the session having a snack. Fresh fruit and water are available throughout the session.
We are happy to have both funded children (paid for by the two-year-old funding) and non-funded children.
Are you eligible for Free Childcare for your Two-year old?
More than half of Barnsley’s
You need to meet the eligibility criteria. There’s lots of information on the Barnsley Family Information Service website and that’s where you apply too.
Once you have applied, if you are eligible, you get a letter that you need to bring along to Station House as soon as you get it. We call the letter the ‘Tick Letter’ because it’ll have a big green tick on it if you can receive this support.
Not eligible? Don’t worry. You can still access a place at Station House. You child’s playgroup place will be discounted thanks to the generosity of our funders. You may also be eligible for additional support through the Childcare Choices scheme.
Confused? Don’t be! Talk to our friendly team and we’ll point you in the right direction for support.
